Getting Started

Prerequisites

• npm
• A backend server URL, running https://github.com/dyte-in/google-transcription/tree/main/server

Installation

npm i @dytesdk/google-transcription

Usage

A speech object can be created using DyteGoogleSpeechRecognition class.

import DyteGoogleSpeechRecognition from '@dytesdk/google-transcription';

const speech = new DyteGoogleSpeechRecognition({
    meeting,
    target: 'hi',
    source: 'en-US',
    baseUrl: <backend-url>,
});


speech.on('transcription', async (data) => {
    // ... do something with transcription
    // console.log(speech.transcriptions);
});

speech.transcribe();
