Freyr Webpack Reporter

Simplifies webpack logs, and adds a little personality

Usage

const Reporter = require('@freyr/webpack-reporter')

plugins: [
  new Reporter({
    devserver: {
      env: ENV,
      host: IP_ADDRESS,
      port: port
    },
    gifs: CONFIG.gifs
  })
]

NOTE: All options are...optional.

OPTIONS
gifs

Enable gifs to spice up the terminal output (require iterm3+)

Default: false

devserver

If you're running webpack dev server, or a custom server, you can pass the details here to let the reporter know about it

Default: false

If you pass true if will fallback to defaults, but you can override any of them:

Options: false

  • env
    • Default: process.env.NODE_ENV or 'development'
  • host
    • Default: Current Node IP address.
  • port
    • Default: process.env.PORT or 3000
