ArcGIS Dashboards enables you to provide managers and executives real-time updates on people, services, assets, and events via a dashboard. A dashboard is composed of visual elements that present key information. Data can often be visualized in a variety of ways. However, some are more effective than others.

The release of ArcGIS 9.2 made dashboards a first-class citizen in GIS. Dashboards allow maps to be directly added to the map itself. They are a way to display information on a map and allow users to drill into the data on demand.

At the end of the day, dashboards provide the perfect balance between visuals and text in such a way that they enable users to understand and react quickly, while maintaining good communication and emphasizing key data.

Results of the inside of the house. Its a little weird, but the way it happened, the way the light flickered, and how the dog was running around. She's convinced it was a spirit in the house and you can see it in the dashcam.

Some more clips from the dashcam. The dog is just all over the place. Misty is not home yet. You can tell by the way the light is flickering and her shoes are on the couch and she's not at the kitchen counter. She appears to be going to the bedroom or her office area.

This dashboard shows progress through the data collection process. Through the dashboard, users will be able to monitor the status of completed water quality surveys and monthly data collection activities.

Dashboard menu improvements/updates: Dashboard menu now includes a sub-menu called “Monitor events”. The Dashboard menu also includes a new sub-menu called “Routines”. This sub-menu includes “Routines” (custom layout) and “Create or edit location” (generic location). 84d34552a1
