vlt Launches "reproduce": A New Tool Challenging the Limits of Package Provenance
vlt's new "reproduce" tool verifies npm packages against their source code, outperforming traditional provenance adoption in the JavaScript ecosystem.
Easily run npm scripts only when in a CI environment.
npm i --save-dev if-ci
Just prefix any command in an npm script with if-ci
like so:
{
"name": "my-great-package",
"version": "1.2.34",
"scripts": {
"maybeEcho": "if-ci echo \"hello!\""
}
}
If you have multiple commands in a script, just use it again:
{
"name": "my-great-package",
"version": "1.2.34",
"scripts": {
"maybeEcho": "if-ci echo \"hello\" && if-ci echo \"world!\""
}
}
Pull requests and any issues found are always welcome.
