Simple and useful gem to provide "News" Model to Active Admin.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'newsroom'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install newsroom
To use Newsroom you need activeadmin gem installed (>=0.5.0). this means that you must install first activeadmin
rails g active_admin:install
rails g newsroom
By default Newsroom generate models to activeadmin and Rails with the name Announcement if you don't want this name you can pass the name like argument in the generate call:
rails g newsroom MODEL_NAME
Is a very simple gem, so please don't spect to much ;)
1.- Add support out of the box for ckeditor in the Content field. 2.- Add Category Model.
