Package rod is a high-level driver directly based on DevTools Protocol. This example opens https://github.com/, searches for "git", and then gets the header element which gives the description for Git. Rod use https://golang.org/pkg/context to handle cancellations for IO blocking operations, most times it's timeout. Context will be recursively passed to all sub-methods. For example, methods like Page.Context(ctx) will return a clone of the page with the ctx, all the methods of the returned page will use the ctx if they have IO blocking operations. Page.Timeout or Page.WithCancel is just a shortcut for Page.Context. Of course, Browser or Element works the same way. Shows how we can further customize the browser with the launcher library. Package openvg is a wrapper to a C library of high-level 2D graphics operations built on OpenVG 1.1 The typical "hello world" program looks like this: The Init function provides the necessary graphics subsystem initialization and the dimensions of the whole canvas. The Init() call must be paired with a corresponding Finish() call, which performs an orderly shutdown. Typically a "drawing" begins with the Start() call, and ends with End(). A program can have an arbitrary set of Start()/End() pairs. The coordinate system uses float64 coordinates, with the origin at the lower left, with x increasing to the right, and y increasing upwards. Currently, the library provides no mouse or keyboard events, other than those provided by the base operating system. It is typical to pause for user input between drawings by reading standard input. The library's functionally includes shapes, attributes, transformations, text, images, and convenince functions. Shape functions include Polygon, Polyline, Cbezier, Qbezier, Rect, Roundrect, Line, Elipse, Circle, and Arc. Transformation functions are: Translate, Rotate, Shear, and Scale. Package uinput is a pure go package that provides access to the userland input device driver uinput on linux systems. Virtual keyboard devices as well as virtual mouse input devices may be created using this package. The keycodes and other event definitions, that are available and can be used to trigger input events, are part of this package ("Key1" for number 1, for example). Widgets are structured using layouts. Layouts are powerful tools that let you position your widgets without having to specify their exact coordinates. Here, the VBox will ensure that the Button will be placed underneath the Label. There are currently three layouts to choose from; VBox, HBox and Grid. Package zzterm efficiently reads and decodes terminal input keys and mouse events without any memory allocation. It is intended to be used with a terminal set in raw mode as its io.Reader. Setting the terminal in raw mode is not handled by this package, there are a number of Go packages that can do this (see the example). Set the terminal in raw mode, use NewInput to create the input key reader and read from the terminal: Mouse events are supported through the Xterm X11 mouse protocol in SGR mode, which is a complex way to call the "modern" handling of mouse events [1] (beyond the limits of 223 for mouse position coordinates in the old protocol). This should be widely supported by modern terminals, but the tracking of mouse events must be enabled on the terminal so that the escape sequences get sent to zzterm. It is the responsibility of the caller to detect the right terminfo to use for the terminal. Package gop5js let you use the p5.js library with Go programs. Part of the package is a webserver, which uses websockets to connect with the browser. All the changes inside the Go program will be pushed to the browser. Mouse events are also send back to the server, so that the Go program can handle these events.
