Weather-Forecast-API

This is a GoLang service that is a somehow fascade to Open Meteo API that has 2 simple endpoints to get weekly forecast and weekly summary.

How to run

You can use makefile to simply run the app.

• install GoLang
• Clone the repository
• Build it

make build # or go build -o bin/weather-forecast-api cmd/main.go

• Go for it

make run # or ./bin/weather-forecast-api - if it was executed

Windows users

To use MakeFile as a Windows user - install Chocolatey and install chocolatey:

choco install make

Endpoints

• /api/v1/forecast

• Receives Longitude and Latitude as parameters (case sensitive!)
• Returns weekly forecast from current day. Example return:

http://localhost:8081/api/v1/forecast?Latitude=52.52&Longitude=13.41
