# generator-ts-web

This is a Yeoman generator for a bare-bones TypeScript web project.

If you:

* Like TypeScript (TS) or want to learn and/or experiment with TS
* Want to write code for the browser using TS
* Do not care to use a framework

Then this template is perfect for you!!

## Installation

First, install [Yeoman](http://yeoman.io) and generator-ts-web using [npm](https://www.npmjs.com/) (we assume you have pre-installed [node.js](https://nodejs.org/)).

```bash
npm install -g yo
npm install -g @airportyh/generator-ts-web
```

Then generate your new project:

```bash
mkdir your-awesome-project
cd your-awesome-project
yo @airportyh/ts-web
```

Then install the dev dependencies:

`npm install`

Then run the app in webpack-dev-server:

`npm start` and open your browser to the URL instructed by webpack-dev-server.
