# emoji-data

This package is a re-write of emoji-index from [emoji-mart@3.0.1](https://github.com/missive/emoji-mart/tree/v3.0.1) and it also contains emoji data we use across Fibery.

We need it as a separate package to be able to use it in Node environment as well

## Dataset

**TODO:** write/fork script to generate dataset (i.e. https://github.com/missive/emoji-mart/blob/main/packages/emoji-mart-data/build.js)

[all.json](./src/all.json) is a result of merging two sets: https://github.com/serebrov/emoji-mart-vue/blob/master/data/apple.json + male_sign, female_sign, medical_sign and https://github.com/serebrov/emoji-mart-vue/blob/master/data/twitter.json. It has only data that are present in both sets. Also redundant properties were removed

As of today (Jul 5 2023) the result equals to [v14 emoji set](https://emojipedia.org/emoji-14.0/)
