# DB Metrics Server

DB Metrics Server is intended to be a single instance server who's purpose it to provide a prometheus driven /metrics endpoint that can reflect DB state over time.  It will use a cron job to periodically query the database and populate metrics that will then be scraped by prometheus and promscale connector.  One of the first use cases will be to store historical snapshots of the number of subgraph deployments each project has.
