# Mailchain Addressing

Mailchain is a messaging protocol that lets users communicate across protocols. Using Mailchain you can send messages to any blockchain address on different protocols.

## Installing

Using npm:

```bash
$ npm install @mailchain/addressing
```

Using yarn:

```bash
$ yarn add @mailchain/addressing
```

## Purpose

The addressing package is used by `@mailchain/sdk` to support securely sending and resolving blockchain addresses for the Mailchain protocol.
