An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects to your Azure Data Explorer (Kusto) database, exposing table schemas as resources and providing tools for data analysis.
Select "Agent Mode" in the Copilot Chat panel.
Click on the "Tools" icon and select Add More Tools.
Click Add MCP Server tool.
Choose Command (stdio) as the tool type.
Type the following command to install and run the Kusto MCP server:
npx @mcp-apps/kusto-mcp-server
Follow the browser authentication prompts to connect to your Azure Data Explorer resources.
Once authenticated, Copilot will be able to assist with KQL queries and data analysis against your Kusto database.
