The Kendo UI for Vue TreeView displays hierarchical data in a traditional tree structure, supports user interaction through mouse or touch events, and performs reordering operations by using the drag-and-drop functionality.

Starting with version 6.0.0, Kendo UI for Vue Native components no longer support Vue 2. Please check our Vue 2 End of Support article for more details.

Among the features which the Kendo UI for Vue TreeView component delivers are:

• Data binding—Works with various types of data.
• Persisting the focus—The TreeView enables you to keep the focus on the currently focused item while reloading the data.
• Expanding—The Allows expanding and collapsing items in the data tree.
• Selection—The Allows selecting items in the data tree.
• Checkboxes—Allows the user to select nodes by using node checkboxes.
• Dragging and dropping—The drag-and-drop functionality enables the user to move the TreeView items by dragging and dropping them within a single tree or across multiple trees.
• Custom rendering—Allows customization of certain or all TreeView nodes.
• Keyboard navigation—Built-in keyboard shortcuts for usability and navigation in the component.
• Accessibility—The TreeView is accessible by screen readers and provides full WAI-ARIA support.
• Theme support—The Kendo UI for Vue TreeView, as well as all 100+ components in the Kendo UI for Vue suite, are styled in four polished themes (Bootstrap, Material, Default and Fluent) and can be further customized to match your specific design guidelines.
