prosemirror-tables is a ProseMirror plugin that provides table editing capabilities. It is similar to the table functionality in @tiptap/extensions but is more low-level and requires more manual setup compared to the more integrated approach of Tiptap.
Slate is a completely customizable framework for building rich text editors. While it offers similar functionalities to Tiptap, such as text formatting and embedding content, it is more flexible and allows for deeper customization at the cost of a steeper learning curve.
Quill is a modern WYSIWYG editor built for compatibility and extensibility. It offers similar features like text formatting and image insertion but is more opinionated in its design compared to the headless and framework-agnostic nature of Tiptap.
