au-bn-validator

A small npm package that validates Australian Business Number (ABN), Australian Company Number (ACN), Australian Registered Body Number (ARBN), Australian Tax File Number (TFN) & Australian Medicare Number.

Installation

As module,

npm install au-bn-validator

As command line program,

npm install -g au-bn-validator

Usage

The module exposes five functions validateABN, validateACN, validateARBN, validateTFN & validateMedicareNumber to validate ABN, ACN, ARBN, TFN & Medicare Number. It will return true if a number is valid otherwise false.

var validator = require('au-bn-validator'); console.log(validator.validateABN('83 914 571 673')); // true console.log(validator.validateABN('83914571673')); // true console.log(validator.validateACN('010 499 966')); // true console.log(validator.validateARBN('00 00')); // false console.log(validator.validateTFN('876 543 210')); // true console.log(validator.validateTFN('876543210')); // true console.log(validator.validateMedicareNumber('2428 77813 2/1')); // true console.log(validator.validateMedicareNumber('2428778132/1')); // true
