built-in set of controls to customize your lower thirds. in the lower left, you can find the pre-defined stock animation. these are the default animations in after effects.  change the pre-defined stock animations to match your company’s colors or use the ones that you created. you can also do whatever you want by adding/deleting transitions. with the “insert transition” button at the top of the animation panel, you can create your own custom transition between frames. tried a logo, animated opacity, or wipe transition? with built-in transition controls, adding more transitions is easy.


the preview panel includes various options to view the progress of your animation. you can view the animation, remove frame-by-frame, insert text, add a logo. see the options under the ‘more’ menu icon.


the audio that is included can be cropped from the source in order to save space in your lower third. simply click on the ‘clip’ button under the ‘audio source’ dropdown to see it get cropped. to save space and time, create as many lower thirds as you need. simply duplicate the template, and crop your audio. then you can add any lower third template on top and it will overwrite the text, title, and other frames that come with the template.


all of the editing can be done without going to the layer interface. simply hover over the frame and click on the tabs on the right and hit the “update” button. to add a logo, select the logo in the template and drag it to the place you want. then just hit ‘update’! to have multiple text layers, click on the dropdown of each text layer in the timeline. you can change the name and position of each text layer. simply add each layer, or remove them if not needed. 84d34552a1
