# Blocto Design Tokens

Blocto Design Tokens are the single source of truth to name and store a design decision, distributed across design tools and coding languages.

## Project Structure

The project is made of these files and folders:

- `tokens/` contains the design tokens input files (in JSON format)
- In `style-dictionary` contain `transforms/`, `transformGroups/`, `formats/`, `filters/`and `actions/` that custom SD code to best suit our own use cases, and `utilities/` contains helper codes
- `build/` contains the generated output files (in different formats)

Designers define design tokens in [Figma](https://www.figma.com/file/zNhbCeUmV3s5qBKtHY0l9l/Assets---UI-Library?node-id=2100%3A2325).

You can either [submit an issue](https://github.com/portto/blocto-design-token/issues/new) or submit a pull request of changed code yourself.

### Running the project

1. Clone repo
2. `yarn install`
3. `yarn build` (output tokens)

Tokens are generated using [SD (Style Dictionary)](https://amzn.github.io/style-dictionary/).
