channel-drop

Drop middleware for channel.

A percentage of emitted events will not be delivered on the other endpoint.

Useful for simulating connectivity issues.

var drop = require('channel-drop');
var chan = channel();
chan.use(drop(0.05)); // 5% of all events will be dropped

Installation

Install with component(1):

$ component install component/channel-drop

API

drop(rate)

Create a drop middleware, with the specified drop rate.

rate is a real number between 0 and 1. 0 means no events are dropped, 1 means all events are dropped.
