# ECT Plugin for DocPad




Adds support for the [ECT](http://ectjs.com/) (Fastest JavaScript template engine with embedded CoffeeScript syntax) templating engine to [DocPad](https://docpad.org)

Convention:  `.anything.ect`

_Important: advanced features of ECT like partials and extends are not implemented yet because they require the use of separate template files, which is not the way Docpad seems to work: it provides only 1 file at a time to the plugin (which makes sense)._
