# dot-ds

A simple CLI to manage `.DS_Store`.

- Adds comprehensive `.DS_Store` related entries to `.gitignore`.
- Creates `.gitignore` if it doesn't exist.
- Refreshes git cache to apply changes immediately.


## Usage

### Check current status

```bash
npx dot-ds
```

This will analyze your current `.gitignore` and show what changes are needed.

### Apply changes

```bash
npx dot-ds -u
# or
npx dot-ds --update
```

This will:
1. Update your `.gitignore` with `.DS_Store` entries (or create a new one).
2. Run `git rm -r --cached .` to remove all files from git cache.
3. Run `git add .` to re-add files respecting the updated `.gitignore`.
