How to use

Initialization

In your code entry module, import the fullSessionTracker and initialize it with your customer id.

import { fullSessionTracker } from 'fullsession'
fullSessionTracker.initialize('[customerId]');

User Identification

Identifying user information (name, user ID, email) and attaching them to a session facilitates the process of filtering sessions by user information.

The following JavaScript API allows you to attach user information to the session being recorded.

function identifyUser(username, name, email) {
  fullSessionTracker.identify(username, { name, email });
}

Custom Events

Custom events serve as a means to augment sessions with personalized information related to user interactions on a web page. To achieve this, the website development team is tasked with invoking a JavaScript function when the user interacts with the relevant webpage element.

The following JavaScript API allows you to add a custom event to the event stream captured by FullSession.

function sendCustomEvent(eventName, eventData) {
