# private-registries-install-scripts-runner

This helper is a way to
workaround [[BUG] Regression: custom scripts not executed on dependencies from custom registry · Issue #4821 · npm/cli](https://github.com/npm/cli/issues/4821).

Being published on official npm registry, this helper `install` script is run by npm in most version (at least 6+), and can then
start `install` scripts from libs on custom/private registries, which is broken since npm 7.

To use simply add dependency to this helper:
`npm i --save private-registries-install-scripts-runner`
