Getting started

$ npm install react-native-secure-store --save

Mostly automatic installation

$ react-native link react-native-secure-store

Manual installation

iOS

  • In XCode, in the project navigator, right click LibrariesAdd Files to [your project's name]
  • Go to node_modulesreact-native-secure-store and add RNSecureStore.xcodeproj
  • In XCode, in the project navigator, select your project. Add libRNSecureStore.a to your project's Build PhasesLink Binary With Libraries
  • Run your project (Cmd+R)<

Android

  • Open up android/app/src/main/java/[...]/MainActivity.java
  • Add import com.securestore.RNSecureStorePackage; to the imports at the top of the file
  • Add new RNSecureStorePackage() to the list returned by the getPackages() method
  • Append the following lines to android/settings.gradle:
    include ':react-native-secure-store'
    project(':react-native-secure-store').projectDir = new File(rootProject.projectDir, 	'../node_modules/react-native-secure-store/android')
    
  • Insert the following lines inside the dependencies block in android/app/build.gradle:
      compile project(':react-native-secure-store')
    

Usage

import RNSecureStore, {ACCESSIBLE} from "react-native-secure-store";

// For storing key
RNSecureStore.set("key1", "value1", {accessible: ACCESSIBLE.ALWAYS_THIS_DEVICE_ONLY})
	.then((res) => {
		console.log(res);

	});

// For retrieving key
RNSecureStore.get("key1")
	.then((res) => {
