Making timers more manageable.

Status

Install

npm install timing

Usage

var timing = require('timing')()
timing.time('hammer')

setTimeout(function () {
  timing.timeEnd('hammer')
}, 500)

Timing also supports Microtime.

var timing = require('timing')({ microtime: true, debug: true })
timing.time('microtimer')

setTimeout(function () {
  var timer = timing.timeEnd('microtimer')
  console.log('%s: %d%s', timer.label, timer.duration, timer.resolution)
}, 500)

Options

microtime [Boolean] - Use microtime for microsecond resolution instead of Date.

debug [Boolean] - Output debug info.
