# Twilio Taskrouter V1 SDK

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This SDK is considered to be legacy and is not actively developed. For new integrations, it's highly recommended to use [Twilio TaskRouter SDK v2](https://github.com/twilio/twilio-taskrouter.js), which supports both Flex and TaskRouter standalone deployments.

## Overview

Twilio TaskRouter SDK v1 was released in 2015 and provided developers with a set of tools to integrate with Twilio's TaskRouter services. This document provides a brief overview of the legacy SDK and directs users towards its successor for modern integration.
