# uuid-to-timestamp

Get the timestamp encoded in UUID v1, v6, and v7. Also get the MAC address
that may be encoded in v1 values.

## Functions

* `uuidToTimestamp(uuid: string): number` - Get a Unix-epoch timestamp out of
UUID v1, v6, or v7. Throws if the input values are not in those versions.
* `uuidToDate(uuid: string): Date` - Same as `uuidToTimestamp` but returns a
`Date`.
* `parseVersion(uuid: string): UUIDVersions` - Parse the `version` field in a
UUID value.
