Malicious npm Packages Inject SSH Backdoors via Typosquatted Libraries
Socket’s threat research team has detected six malicious npm packages typosquatting popular libraries to insert SSH backdoors.

protocols or Measurement Protocol on zbrowser://
protocol.
You can install zmp-ga4
using npm:
npm install zmp-ga4
To use zmp-ga4
, you first need to import the AdaptiveAnalytics class and create a new instance with your Google Analytics 4 property ID and measurement ID:
import { AdaptiveAnalytics } from "zmp-ga4";
export const ga4 = new AdaptiveAnalytics(
"G-**********", // measurement id
"**********************" //measurement protocol api secrets
);
A config object could also be passed to the third parameter to customize tracking behavior, for example:
export const ga4 = new AdaptiveAnalytics(
"G-**********", // measurement id
"**********************", //measurement protocol api secrets
{
useMeasurementProtocolWhen() {
return navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase().includes("ios");
},
gtagConfig: {
send_page_view: false,
},
}
);
You can then use the trackEvent method to send events to Google Analytics 4:
ga4.trackEvent("search", {
search_term: value,
});
The first parameter is the name of the event, and the second parameter is an object containing any additional information you want to send with the event.
