Stripe for .NET MAUI

Stripe is a well-known payment gateway providing a wide range of payment products and solutions.

Prerequisites

• .NET 8
• Java SDK 17 as the default Java version in your PATH IMPORTANT
• Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code
• .NET workloads for .NET MAUI

Steps to run the sample app

1/ Open dotnet-maui-stripe.sln file

2/ Create Shared.dev.cs as a copy of Shared.dev.cs.sample

    |- StripeMauiQs.Host
        |- Shared.cs
        |- Shared.dev.cs

3/ Replace the placeholder with your key

4/ Run StripeMauiQs.Host without debugging

5/ Use ngrok to expose your local server for accessing from mobile device(s)/simulator(s)/emulator(s)

ngrok http http://localhost:4242

6/ Set value of BACKEND_URL in Shared.dev.cs to the generated ngrok URL

7/ Run and check out the app

Steps to use in your app

1/ Install the nuget package

<PackageReference Include="Stripe.MAUI" Version="1.204600.232705.1" />

2/ Call UseStripe in your MauiProgram.cs

3/ Inject IPaymentSheet into your class

4/ Try to invoke relevant method e.g. PresentWithPaymentIntentAsync

NOTE IMPORTANT!!! If the .NET MAUI project cannot be loaded, please close the solution, then remove bin and obj folders patiently.
