= Draper-CanCan
Draper-CanCan adds a few simple methods to your decorators to make it easier to work with cancan
== Install
Add to your gemfile: gem 'draper-cancan'
== Usage
Inside your ApplicationDecorator.rb (or a specific decorator) just add
class ApplicationDecorator < Draper::Base include Draper::CanCan end
And now you'll have access to a few helpful methods like
user_decorator.able_to? :read #=> calls can? :read, user_decorator.model user_decorator.unable_to? :destroy #=> calls cannot? :destory, user_decorator.model
also you get some quick methods like user_decorator.creatable? user_decorator.editable? user_decorator.updatable? user_decorator.readable? user_decorator.managable? user_decorator.deletable? #or user_decorator.destroyable?
