go_maps

ABOUT

Ruby API to geographic operations. Currently it supports:

• Validation of an address
• Distance between two addresses
• Map with route between two addresses
• Directions in HTML format between two addresses
• Load address data from a CEP (only for Brazil)

USAGE

address = GoMaps::Address.new "Rua Tenerife, 31, Sao Paulo, Brasil"
address.exists?
=> true
address.distance_to "Av Paulista, Sao Paulo, Brasil"
=> 6.3

direction = GoMaps::Direction.new(:from => "Av Paulista 100, Sao Paulo, Brasil",
                                  :to => "Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima 1000, Sao Paulo, Brasil")
direction.to_map
direction.to_map(:width => 400, :height => 700)
direction.to_html
direction.to_html(:language => 'pt-BR')
