Progression

Progression is a simple ruby progress bar.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'progression'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install progression

Usage

It can be used like so:

p = Progression.new(cats.size)

puts 'Updating cats'

cats.each do |c|
  c.cute = true
  p.tick
end

Currently it looks like this:

Updating cats
================

This is in progress:

Updating cats
[==============                               ] 35% (00:25 remaining)

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rspec to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
