Package talker is a wrapper for the Tolk library. It processes the API of many screen readers in a single API. You don't need to be particularly concerned with any low-level functions. Currently Tolk/Talker supports these screen readers: NVDA, JAWS, WindowEyes, SuperNova, SystemAccess, ZoomText. Microsoft Windows SAPI is also supported. Naming note: "Tolk_" part is taken from the names of functions. If you have used Tolk, you can adapt to Talker by simply deleting these letters. For example: C: Tolk_Load = Go: talker.Load() C: Tolk_Output = Go: talker.Output("Hello, I am Golang and CGO or Talker :)", false) Most of the project's DLL dependencies are licensed under the GNU license. So I can't statically linking them. You must copy the appropriate DLLs for your architecture from x64 or x86 to your project directory. Package d3d9 provides a wrapper for Microsoft's Direct3D9 API in pure Go. It can only be used on Windows. When running a Direct3D application you need to have d3d9.dll installed on the system, which fortunately has been deployed with all Windows versions since XP. This means if you have Go installed, you also have the DLL installed. This also means that your application can be deployed without the DirectX DLLs and if you have no other dependencies you can just give the executable file to the users. To get going with this wrapper there are some basic samples that demonstrate how to set up and use the library at: https://github.com/gonutz/d3d9/tree/master/samples
