Package enigma is a library that helps you communicate with Qlik Associative Engine. Examples of use may be building your own analytics tools, back-end services, or other tools communicating with Qlik Associative Engine. enigma-go includes generated API code that is based on the latest available Qlik Associative Engine schema. When a new schema is available a new version of enigma-go will be made available Connecting to Qlik Associative Engine and intreract with a document/app involves at least the following steps: 1. Create and setup a Dialer object with TLS configuration etc 2. Open the WebSocket to Qlik Associative Engine using the Dial function in the Dialer 3. Open or create a document/app using openDoc or createApp See the example below for an illustration of how it may look. Package gosnowflake is a pure Go Snowflake driver for the database/sql package. Clients can use the database/sql package directly. For example: Use Open to create a database handle with connection parameters: The Go Snowflake Driver supports the following connection syntaxes (or data source name formats): where all parameters must be escaped or use `Config` and `DSN` to construct a DSN string. The following example opens a database handle with the Snowflake account myaccount where the username is jsmith, password is mypassword, database is mydb, schema is testschema, and warehouse is mywh: The following connection parameters are supported: account <string>: Specifies the name of your Snowflake account, where string is the name assigned to your account by Snowflake. In the URL you received from Snowflake, your account name is the first segment in the domain (e.g. abc123 in https://abc123.snowflakecomputing.com). This parameter is optional if your account is specified after the @ character. If you are not on us-west-2 region or AWS deployment, then append the region after the account name, e.g. “<account>.<region>”. If you are not on AWS deployment, then append not only the region, but also the platform, e.g., “<account>.<region>.<platform>”. Account, region, and platform should be separated by a period (“.”), as shown above. If you are using a global url, then append connection group and "global", e.g., "account-<connection_group>.global". Account and connection group are separated by a dash ("-"), as shown above. region <string>: DEPRECATED. You may specify a region, such as “eu-central-1”, with this parameter. However, since this parameter is deprecated, it is best to specify the region as part of the account parameter. For details, see the description of the account parameter. database: Specifies the database to use by default in the client session (can be changed after login). schema: Specifies the database schema to use by default in the client session (can be changed after login). warehouse: Specifies the virtual warehouse to use by default for queries, loading, etc. in the client session (can be changed after login). role: Specifies the role to use by default for accessing Snowflake objects in the client session (can be changed after login). passcode: Specifies the passcode provided by Duo when using MFA for login. passcodeInPassword: false by default. The login request gives up after the timeout length if the HTTP response is success. authenticator: Specifies the authenticator to use for authenticating user credentials: To use the internal Snowflake authenticator, specify snowflake (Default). To authenticate through Okta, specify https://<okta_account_name>.okta.com (URL prefix for Okta). To authenticate using your IDP via a browser, specify externalbrowser. To authenticate via OAuth, specify oauth and provide an OAuth Access Token (see the token parameter below). application: Identifies your application to Snowflake Support. insecureMode: false by default. Set to true to bypass the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) certificate revocation check. IMPORTANT: Change the default value for testing or emergency situations only. token: a token that can be used to authenticate. Should be used in conjunction with the "oauth" authenticator. client_session_keep_alive: Set to true have a heartbeat in the background every hour to keep the connection alive such that the connection session will never expire. Care should be taken in using this option as it opens up the access forever as long as the process is alive. ocspFailOpen: true by default. Set to false to make OCSP check fail closed mode. validateDefaultParameters: true by default. Set to false to disable checks on existence and privileges check for Database, Schema, Warehouse and Role when setting up the connection All other parameters are taken as session parameters. For example, TIMESTAMP_OUTPUT_FORMAT session parameter can be set by adding: The Go Snowflake Driver honors the environment variables HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY and NO_PROXY for the forward proxy setting. NO_PROXY specifies which hostname endings should be allowed to bypass the proxy server, e.g. :code:`no_proxy=.amazonaws.com` means that AWS S3 access does not need to go through the proxy. NO_PROXY does not support wildcards. Each value specified should be one of the following: The end of a hostname (or a complete hostname), for example: ".amazonaws.com" or "xy12345.snowflakecomputing.com". An IP address, for example "192.196.1.15". If more than one value is specified, values should be separated by commas, for example: By default, the driver's builtin logger is NOP; no output is generated. This is intentional for those applications that use the same set of logger parameters not to conflict with glog, which is incorporated in the driver logging framework. In order to enable debug logging for the driver, add a build tag sfdebug to the go tool command lines, for example: For tests, run the test command with the tag along with glog parameters. For example, the following command will generate all acitivty logs in the standard error. Likewise, if you build your application with the tag, you may specify the same set of glog parameters. To get the logs for a specific module, use the -vmodule option. For example, to retrieve the driver.go and connection.go module logs: Note: If your request retrieves no logs, call db.Close() or glog.flush() to flush the glog buffer. Note: The logger may be changed in the future for better logging. Currently if the applications use the same parameters as glog, you cannot collect both application and driver logs at the same time. From 0.5.0, a signal handling responsibility has moved to the applications. If you want to cancel a query/command by Ctrl+C, add a os.Interrupt trap in context to execute methods that can take the context parameter, e.g., QueryContext, ExecContext. See cmd/selectmany.go for the full example. Queries return SQL column type information in the ColumnType type. The DatabaseTypeName method returns the following strings representing Snowflake data types: Go's database/sql package limits Go's data types to the following for binding and fetching: Fetching data isn't an issue since the database data type is provided along with the data so the Go Snowflake Driver can translate Snowflake data types to Go native data types. When the client binds data to send to the server, however, the driver cannot determine the date/timestamp data types to associate with binding parameters. For example: To resolve this issue, a binding parameter flag is introduced that associates any subsequent time.Time type to the DATE, TIME, TIMESTAMP_LTZ, TIMESTAMP_NTZ or BINARY data type. The above example could be rewritten as follows: The driver fetches TIMESTAMP_TZ (timestamp with time zone) data using the offset-based Location types, which represent a collection of time offsets in use in a geographical area, such as CET (Central European Time) or UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). The offset-based Location data is generated and cached when a Go Snowflake Driver application starts, and if the given offset is not in the cache, it is generated dynamically. Currently, Snowflake doesn't support the name-based Location types, e.g., America/Los_Angeles. For more information about Location types, see the Go documentation for https://golang.org/pkg/time/#Location. Internally, this feature leverages the []byte data type. As a result, BINARY data cannot be bound without the binding parameter flag. In the following example, sf is an alias for the gosnowflake package: The driver directly downloads a result set from the cloud storage if the size is large. It is required to shift workloads from the Snowflake database to the clients for scale. The download takes place by goroutine named "Chunk Downloader" asynchronously so that the driver can fetch the next result set while the application can consume the current result set. The application may change the number of result set chunk downloader if required. Note this doesn't help reduce memory footprint by itself. Consider Custom JSON Decoder. Experimental: Custom JSON Decoder for parsing Result Set The application may have the driver use a custom JSON decoder that incrementally parses the result set as follows. This option will reduce the memory footprint to half or even quarter, but it can significantly degrade the performance depending on the environment. The test cases running on Travis Ubuntu box show five times less memory footprint while four times slower. Be cautious when using the option. (Private Preview) JWT authentication ** Not recommended for production use until GA Now JWT token is supported when compiling with a golang version of 1.10 or higher. Binary compiled with lower version of golang would return an error at runtime when users try to use JWT authentication feature. To enable this feature, one can construct DSN with fields "authenticator=SNOWFLAKE_JWT&privateKey=<your_private_key>", or using Config structure specifying: The <your_private_key> should be a base64 URL encoded PKCS8 rsa private key string. One way to encode a byte slice to URL base 64 URL format is through base64.URLEncoding.EncodeToString() function. On the server side, one can alter the public key with the SQL command: The <your_public_key> should be a base64 Standard encoded PKI public key string. One way to encode a byte slice to base 64 Standard format is through base64.StdEncoding.EncodeToString() function. To generate the valid key pair, one can do the following command on the shell script: GET and PUT operations are unsupported.
captainhook is a generic webhook listener This tool was built as part of a CI orchestration process, to be called when Docker trusted builds finish. It explicitly ignores the posted data from the webhook because that would be `insecure`, which is `bad`. Despite our intended purpose, it can be used to trigger any process when you receive a post to a specific URL. That's why we called it a generic webhook listener. To use captainhook, first create a directory to store the json scripts that describe your orchestration. We'll refer to that directory as `configdir`. Each script you create in the `configdir` will be executed when the corresponding endpoint is called. `mkdir ~/captainhook` Now add a json file in the `configdir`. There's a sample in the `example` directory with some sterile commands that won't modify your filesystem. Run captainhook with a command similar to this: `captainhook -configdir ~/captainhook` If you have a script called `deployBigApp.json` you would trigger it by posting to http://your.captainhook.url/deployBigApp. The scripts in the json file are executed sequentially, and the output is logged and returned to the caller in the response, which always has an HTTP status code of 200 (OK) even if your scripts didn't work. This is intentional, to avoid causing errors in external services like Docker or Github, which might not like you returning statuses other than 200 (OK). LICENSE information found in LICENSE file.
bindata converts any file into managable Go source code. Useful for embedding binary data into a go program. The file data is optionally gzip compressed before being converted to a raw byte slice. The following paragraphs cover some of the customization options which can be specified in the Config struct, which must be passed into the Translate() call. When used with the `Debug` option, the generated code does not actually include the asset data. Instead, it generates function stubs which load the data from the original file on disk. The asset API remains identical between debug and release builds, so your code will not have to change. This is useful during development when you expect the assets to change often. The host application using these assets uses the same API in both cases and will not have to care where the actual data comes from. An example is a Go webserver with some embedded, static web content like HTML, JS and CSS files. While developing it, you do not want to rebuild the whole server and restart it every time you make a change to a bit of javascript. You just want to build and launch the server once. Then just press refresh in the browser to see those changes. Embedding the assets with the `debug` flag allows you to do just that. When you are finished developing and ready for deployment, just re-invoke `go-bindata` without the `-debug` flag. It will now embed the latest version of the assets. The `NoMemCopy` option will alter the way the output file is generated. It will employ a hack that allows us to read the file data directly from the compiled program's `.rodata` section. This ensures that when we call call our generated function, we omit unnecessary memcopies. The downside of this, is that it requires dependencies on the `reflect` and `unsafe` packages. These may be restricted on platforms like AppEngine and thus prevent you from using this mode. Another disadvantage is that the byte slice we create, is strictly read-only. For most use-cases this is not a problem, but if you ever try to alter the returned byte slice, a runtime panic is thrown. Use this mode only on target platforms where memory constraints are an issue. The default behaviour is to use the old code generation method. This prevents the two previously mentioned issues, but will employ at least one extra memcopy and thus increase memory requirements. For instance, consider the following two examples: This would be the default mode, using an extra memcopy but gives a safe implementation without dependencies on `reflect` and `unsafe`: Here is the same functionality, but uses the `.rodata` hack. The byte slice returned from this example can not be written to without generating a runtime error. The NoCompress option indicates that the supplied assets are *not* GZIP compressed before being turned into Go code. The data should still be accessed through a function call, so nothing changes in the API. This feature is useful if you do not care for compression, or the supplied resource is already compressed. Doing it again would not add any value and may even increase the size of the data. The default behaviour of the program is to use compression. The keys used in the `_bindata` map are the same as the input file name passed to `go-bindata`. This includes the path. In most cases, this is not desireable, as it puts potentially sensitive information in your code base. For this purpose, the tool supplies another command line flag `-prefix`. This accepts a portion of a path name, which should be stripped off from the map keys and function names. For example, running without the `-prefix` flag, we get: Running with the `-prefix` flag, we get: With the optional Tags field, you can specify any go build tags that must be fulfilled for the output file to be included in a build. This is useful when including binary data in multiple formats, where the desired format is specified at build time with the appropriate tags. The tags are appended to a `// +build` line in the beginning of the output file and must follow the build tags syntax specified by the go tool.
Gebug is a tool that makes debugging of Dockerized Go applications super easy by enabling Debugger and Hot-Reload features, seamlessly. The implementation is based on utilizing Docker and Docker-Compose to manage the debugging environment. In order to get a consistent and clean environment, the application build is taking place inside a Docker container. This make the debugging process agnostic to the host's libraries and tools versions. For instance, you can choose to work a specific version of Go on your host, but use another one when debugging your application. During the `init` process, the user sets the desired configuration to the project including Docker base, environment variables and expose ports. When the user runs `start` (unless explicitly asked) a `Dockerfile` and `docker-compose.yml` with the relevant configuration including one-direction source files synchronization between the host and the runtime container and auto-build on each change detected. Package uri is meant to be an RFC 3986 compliant URI builder and parser. I built this package because I was tired of having to always build conditional URI building for connection to databses (for servers and tools). The two main components are the uri parser which allows you to parse a URI and extract information from it and the builder which allows you to build URIs in a simple, programmatic fashion. I also added two convenienve builders for the gomysql and postgres drivers. Feel free to add more as desired!

All tests pass on Linux, Mac and Windows platforms. gofpdf supports UTF-8 TrueType fonts and “right-to-left” languages. Note that Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters may not be included in many general purpose fonts. For these languages, a specialized font (for example, NotoSansSC for simplified Chinese) can be used. Also, support is provided to automatically translate UTF-8 runes to code page encodings for languages that have fewer than 256 glyphs. This repository will not be maintained, at least for some unknown duration. But it is hoped that gofpdf has a bright future in the open source world. Due to Go’s promise of compatibility, gofpdf should continue to function without modification for a longer time than would be the case with many other languages. Forks should be based on the last viable commit. Tools such as active-forks can be used to select a fork that looks promising for your needs. See the functions in the fpdf_test.go file (shown as examples in this documentation) for more advanced PDF examples. If an error occurs in an Fpdf method, an internal error field is set. After this occurs, Fpdf method calls typically return without performing any operations and the error state is retained. This error management scheme facilitates PDF generation since individual method calls do not need to be examined for failure; it is generally sufficient to wait until after Output() is called. For the same reason, if an error occurs in the calling application during PDF generation, it may be desirable for the application to transfer the error to the Fpdf instance by calling the SetError() method or the SetErrorf() method. At any time during the life cycle of the Fpdf instance, the error state can be determined with a call to Ok() or Err(). The error itself can be retrieved with a call to Error(). This package is a relatively straightforward translation from the original FPDF library written in PHP (despite the caveat in the introduction to Effective Go). The API names have been retained even though the Go idiom would suggest otherwise (for example, pdf.GetX() is used rather than simply pdf.X()). The similarity of the two libraries makes the original FPDF website a good source of information. It includes a forum and FAQ. However, some internal changes have been made. Page content is built up using buffers (of type bytes.Buffer) rather than repeated string concatenation. Errors are handled as explained above rather than panicking. Output is generated through an interface of type io.Writer or io.WriteCloser. A number of the original PHP methods behave differently based on the type of the arguments that are passed to them; in these cases additional methods have been exported to provide similar functionality. Font definition files are produced in JSON rather than PHP. A side effect of running go test ./... is the production of a number of example PDFs. These can be found in the gofpdf/pdf directory after the tests complete. Please note that these examples run in the context of a test. In order run an example as a standalone application, you’ll need to examine fpdf_test.go for some helper routines, for example exampleFilename() and summary(). Example PDFs can be compared with reference copies in order to verify that they have been generated as expected. This comparison will be performed if a PDF with the same name as the example PDF is placed in the gofpdf/pdf/reference directory and if the third argument to ComparePDFFiles() in internal/example/example.go is true. (By default it is false.) The routine that summarizes an example will look for this file and, if found, will call ComparePDFFiles() to check the example PDF for equality with its reference PDF. If differences exist between the two files they will be printed to standard output and the test will fail. If the reference file is missing, the comparison is considered to succeed. In order to successfully compare two PDFs, the placement of internal resources must be consistent and the internal creation timestamps must be the same. To do this, the methods SetCatalogSort() and SetCreationDate() need to be called for both files. This is done automatically for all examples. Nothing special is required to use the standard PDF fonts (courier, helvetica, times, zapfdingbats) in your documents other than calling SetFont(). You should use AddUTF8Font() or AddUTF8FontFromBytes() to add a TrueType UTF-8 encoded font. Use RTL() and LTR() methods switch between “right-to-left” and “left-to-right” mode. In order to use a different non-UTF-8 TrueType or Type1 font, you will need to generate a font definition file and, if the font will be embedded into PDFs, a compressed version of the font file. This is done by calling the MakeFont function or using the included makefont command line utility. To create the utility, cd into the makefont subdirectory and run “go build”. This will produce a standalone executable named makefont. Select the appropriate encoding file from the font subdirectory and run the command as in the following example. In your PDF generation code, call AddFont() to load the font and, as with the standard fonts, SetFont() to begin using it. Most examples, including the package example, demonstrate this method. Good sources of free, open-source fonts include Google Fonts and DejaVu Fonts. The draw2d package is a two dimensional vector graphics library that can generate output in different forms. It uses gofpdf for its document production mode. gofpdf is a global community effort and you are invited to make it even better. Package bluemonday provides a way of describing a whitelist of HTML elements and attributes as a policy, and for that policy to be applied to untrusted strings from users that may contain markup. All elements and attributes not on the whitelist will be stripped. The default bluemonday.UGCPolicy().Sanitize() turns this: Into the more harmless: And it turns this: Into this: Whilst still allowing this: To pass through mostly unaltered (it gained a rel="nofollow"): The primary purpose of bluemonday is to take potentially unsafe user generated content (from things like Markdown, HTML WYSIWYG tools, etc) and make it safe for you to put on your website. It protects sites against XSS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-site_scripting) and other malicious content that a user interface may deliver. There are many vectors for an XSS attack (https://www.owasp.org/index.php/XSS_Filter_Evasion_Cheat_Sheet) and the safest thing to do is to sanitize user input against a known safe list of HTML elements and attributes. Note: You should always run bluemonday after any other processing. If you use blackfriday (https://github.com/russross/blackfriday) or Pandoc (http://johnmacfarlane.net/pandoc/) then bluemonday should be run after these steps. This ensures that no insecure HTML is introduced later in your process. bluemonday is heavily inspired by both the OWASP Java HTML Sanitizer (https://code.google.com/p/owasp-java-html-sanitizer/) and the HTML Purifier (http://htmlpurifier.org/). We ship two default policies, one is bluemonday.StrictPolicy() and can be thought of as equivalent to stripping all HTML elements and their attributes as it has nothing on it's whitelist. The other is bluemonday.UGCPolicy() and allows a broad selection of HTML elements and attributes that are safe for user generated content. Note that this policy does not whitelist iframes, object, embed, styles, script, etc. The essence of building a policy is to determine which HTML elements and attributes are considered safe for your scenario. Package gohg is a Go client library for using the Mercurial dvcs via it's Command Server. For Mercurial see: http://mercurial.selenic.com. For the Hg Command Server see: http://mercurial.selenic.com/wiki/CommandServer. ▪ Mercurial For Mercurial any version starting from 1.9 should be ok, cause that's the one where the Command Server was introduced. If you send wrong options to it through gohg, or commands or options not yet supported (or obsolete) in your Hg version, you'll simply get back an error from Hg itself, as gohg does not check them. But on the other hand gohg allows issuing new commands, not yet implemented by gohg; see further. ▪ Go Currently gohg is currently developed with Go1.2.1. Though I started with the Go1.0 versions, I can't remember having had to change one or two minor things when moving to Go1.1.1. Updating to Go1.1.2 required no changes at all. I had an issue though with Go1.2, on Windows only, causing some tests using os.exec.Command to fail. I'll have to look into that further, to find out if I should report a bug. ▪ Platform I'm developing and testing both on Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04/13.04/13.10. But I suppose it should work on any other platform that supports Hg and Go. Only Go and it's standard library. And Mercurial should be installed of course. At the commandline type: to have gohg available in your GOPATH. Start with importing the gohg package. Examples: All interaction with the Mercurial Command Server (Hg CS from now on) happens through the HgClient type, of which you have to create an instance: Then you can connect the Hg CS as follows: 1. The Hg executable: The first parameter is the Mercurial command to use (which 'hg'). You can leave it blanc to let the gohg tool use the default Mercurial command on the system. Having a parameter for the Hg command allows for using a different Hg version, for testing purposes for instance. 2. The repository path: The second parameter is the path to the repository you want to work on. You can leave it blanc to have gohg use the repository it can find for the current path you are running the program in (searching upward in the folder tree eventually). 3. The config for the session: The third parameter allows to provide extra configuration for the session. Though this is currently not implemented yet. 4. Should gohg create a new repo before connecting? This fourth parameter allows you to indicate that you want gohg to first create a new Mercurial repo if it does not already exist in the path given by the second parameter. See the documentation for more detailed info. 5. The returnvalue: The HgClient.Connect() method eventually returns an error, so you can check if the connection succeeded, and if it is safe to go on. Once the work is done, you can disconnect the Hg CS using a typical Go idiom: The gohg tool sets some environment variables for the Hg CS session, to ensure it's good working: Once we have a connection to a Hg CS we can do some work with the repository. This is done with commands, and gohg offers 3 ways to use them. 1. The command methods of the HgClient type. 2. The HgCmd type. 3. The ExecCmd() method of the HgClient type. Each of which has its own reason of existence. Commands return a byte slice containing the resulting data, and eventually an error. But there are a few exceptions (see api docs). If a command fails, the returned error contains 5 elements: 1) the name of the internal routine where the error was trapped, 2) the name of the HgClient command that was run, 3) the returncode by Mercurial, 4) the full command that was passed to the Hg CS, and 5) the eventual error message returned by Mercurial. So the command could return something like the following in the err variable when it fails: The command aliases (like 'id' for 'identify') are not implemented. But there are examples in identify.go and showconfig.go of how you can easily implement them yourself. This is the easiest way, a kind of convenience. And the most readable too. A con is that as a user you cannot know the exact command that was passed to Hg, without some extra mechanics. Each command has the same name as the corresponding Hg command, except it starts with a capital letter of course. An example (also see examples/example1.go): Note that these methods all use the HgCmd type internally. As such they are convenience wrappers around that type. You could also consider them as a kind of syntactic sugar. If you just want to simply issue a command, nothing more, they are the way to go. The only way to obtain the commandstring sent to Hg when using these command methods, is by calling the HgClient.ShowLastCmd() method afterwards before issuing any other commands: Using the HgCmd type is kind of the standard way. It is a struct that you can instantiate for any command, and for which you can set elements Name, Options and Params (see the api docs for more details). It allows for building the command step by step, and also to query the exact command that will be sent to the Hg CS. A pro of this method is that it allows you to obtain the exact command string that will be passed to Mercurial before it is performed, by calling the CmdLine() method of HgCmd. This could be handy for logging, or for showing feedback to the user in a GUI program. (You could even call CmdLine() several times, and show the building of the command step by step.) An example (also see examples/example2.go): As you can see, this way requires some more coding. The source code will also show you that the HgCmd type is indeed used as the underlying type for the convenience HgClient commands, in all the New<hg-command>Cmd() constructors. The HgClient type has an extra method ExecCmd(), allowing you to pass a fully custom built command to Hg. It accepts a string slice that is supposed to contain all the elements of the complete command, as you would type it at the command line. It could be a convenient way for performing commands that are not yet implemented in gohg, or to make use of extensions to Hg (for which gohg offers no support (yet?)). An example (also see examples/example3.go): Just like on the commandline, options come before parameters. Options to commands use the same name as the long form of the Mercurial option they represent, but start with the necessary capital letter. An options value can be of type bool, int or string. You just pass the value as the parameter to the option (= type conversion of the value to the option type). You can pass any number of options, as the elements of a slice. Options can occur more than once if appropriate (see the ones marked with '[+]' in the Mercurial help). Parameters are used to provide any arguments for a command that are not options. They are passed in as a string or a slice of strings, depending on the command. These parameters typically contain revisions, paths or filenames and so. The gohg tool only checks if the options the caller gives are valid for that command. It does not check if the values are valid for the combination of that command and that option, as that is done by Mercurial. No need to implement that again. If an option is not valid for a command, it is silently ignored, so it is not passed to the Hg CS. A few options are not implemented, as they seemed not relevant for use with this tool (for instance: the global --color option, or the --print0 option for status). The gohg tool only returns errors, with an as clear as possible message, and never uses log.Fatal() nor panics, even if those may seem appropriate. It leaves it up to the caller to do that eventually. It's not up to this library to decide whether to do a retry or to abort the complete application. ▪ The following config settings are fixated in the code (at least for now): ▪ As mentioned earlier, passing config info is not implemented yet. ▪ Currently the only support for extensions to Mercurial is through the ExecCmd method. ▪ If multiple Hg CSs are used against the same repo, it is up to Mercurial to handle this correctly. ▪ Mercurial is always run in english. Package rex provides a library for accessing the REX API. REX is a cloud-based operating system for building augmented reality applications. The first thing you have to do is to register at https://rex.robotic-eyes.com for a free REX account. Once you activated your account, you can simply create an API access token with a `ClientId` and a `ClientSecret`. This that information in your pocket, you can start building your REX-enabled application. An example application is called rx (https://github.com/breiting/rx) which is a command line tool accessing the REX system.

All tests pass on Linux, Mac and Windows platforms. gofpdf supports UTF-8 TrueType fonts and “right-to-left” languages. Note that Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters may not be included in many general purpose fonts. For these languages, a specialized font (for example, NotoSansSC for simplified Chinese) can be used. Also, support is provided to automatically translate UTF-8 runes to code page encodings for languages that have fewer than 256 glyphs. This repository will not be maintained, at least for some unknown duration. But it is hoped that gofpdf has a bright future in the open source world. Due to Go’s promise of compatibility, gofpdf should continue to function without modification for a longer time than would be the case with many other languages. See the functions in the fpdf_test.go file (shown as examples in this documentation) for more advanced PDF examples. If an error occurs in an Fpdf method, an internal error field is set. After this occurs, Fpdf method calls typically return without performing any operations and the error state is retained. This error management scheme facilitates PDF generation since individual method calls do not need to be examined for failure; it is generally sufficient to wait until after Output() is called. For the same reason, if an error occurs in the calling application during PDF generation, it may be desirable for the application to transfer the error to the Fpdf instance by calling the SetError() method or the SetErrorf() method. At any time during the life cycle of the Fpdf instance, the error state can be determined with a call to Ok() or Err(). The error itself can be retrieved with a call to Error(). This package is a relatively straightforward translation from the original FPDF library written in PHP (despite the caveat in the introduction to Effective Go). The API names have been retained even though the Go idiom would suggest otherwise (for example, pdf.GetX() is used rather than simply pdf.X()). The similarity of the two libraries makes the original FPDF website a good source of information. It includes a forum and FAQ. However, some internal changes have been made. Page content is built up using buffers (of type bytes.Buffer) rather than repeated string concatenation. Errors are handled as explained above rather than panicking. Output is generated through an interface of type io.Writer or io.WriteCloser. A number of the original PHP methods behave differently based on the type of the arguments that are passed to them; in these cases additional methods have been exported to provide similar functionality. Font definition files are produced in JSON rather than PHP. A side effect of running go test ./... is the production of a number of example PDFs. These can be found in the gofpdf/pdf directory after the tests complete. Please note that these examples run in the context of a test. In order run an example as a standalone application, you’ll need to examine fpdf_test.go for some helper routines, for example exampleFilename() and summary(). Example PDFs can be compared with reference copies in order to verify that they have been generated as expected. This comparison will be performed if a PDF with the same name as the example PDF is placed in the gofpdf/pdf/reference directory and if the third argument to ComparePDFFiles() in internal/example/example.go is true. (By default it is false.) The routine that summarizes an example will look for this file and, if found, will call ComparePDFFiles() to check the example PDF for equality with its reference PDF. If differences exist between the two files they will be printed to standard output and the test will fail. If the reference file is missing, the comparison is considered to succeed. In order to successfully compare two PDFs, the placement of internal resources must be consistent and the internal creation timestamps must be the same. To do this, the methods SetCatalogSort() and SetCreationDate() need to be called for both files. This is done automatically for all examples. Nothing special is required to use the standard PDF fonts (courier, helvetica, times, zapfdingbats) in your documents other than calling SetFont(). You should use AddUTF8Font() or AddUTF8FontFromBytes() to add a TrueType UTF-8 encoded font. Use RTL() and LTR() methods switch between “right-to-left” and “left-to-right” mode. In order to use a different non-UTF-8 TrueType or Type1 font, you will need to generate a font definition file and, if the font will be embedded into PDFs, a compressed version of the font file. This is done by calling the MakeFont function or using the included makefont command line utility. To create the utility, cd into the makefont subdirectory and run “go build”. This will produce a standalone executable named makefont. Select the appropriate encoding file from the font subdirectory and run the command as in the following example. In your PDF generation code, call AddFont() to load the font and, as with the standard fonts, SetFont() to begin using it. Most examples, including the package example, demonstrate this method. Good sources of free, open-source fonts include Google Fonts and DejaVu Fonts. The draw2d package is a two dimensional vector graphics library that can generate output in different forms. It uses gofpdf for its document production mode. gofpdf is a global community effort and you are invited to make it even better. Package bindata converts any file into manageable Go source code. Useful for embedding binary data into a go program. The file data is optionally gzip compressed before being converted to a raw byte slice. The following paragraphs cover some of the customization options which can be specified in the Config struct, which must be passed into the Translate() call. When used with the `Debug` option, the generated code does not actually include the asset data. Instead, it generates function stubs which load the data from the original file on disk. The asset API remains identical between debug and release builds, so your code will not have to change. This is useful during development when you expect the assets to change often. The host application using these assets uses the same API in both cases and will not have to care where the actual data comes from. An example is a Go webserver with some embedded, static web content like HTML, JS and CSS files. While developing it, you do not want to rebuild the whole server and restart it every time you make a change to a bit of javascript. You just want to build and launch the server once. Then just press refresh in the browser to see those changes. Embedding the assets with the `debug` flag allows you to do just that. When you are finished developing and ready for deployment, just re-invoke `go-bindata` without the `-debug` flag. It will now embed the latest version of the assets. The `NoMemCopy` option will alter the way the output file is generated. It will employ a hack that allows us to read the file data directly from the compiled program's `.rodata` section. This ensures that when we call call our generated function, we omit unnecessary memcopies. The downside of this, is that it requires dependencies on the `reflect` and `unsafe` packages. These may be restricted on platforms like AppEngine and thus prevent you from using this mode. Another disadvantage is that the byte slice we create, is strictly read-only. For most use-cases this is not a problem, but if you ever try to alter the returned byte slice, a runtime panic is thrown. Use this mode only on target platforms where memory constraints are an issue. The default behaviour is to use the old code generation method. This prevents the two previously mentioned issues, but will employ at least one extra memcopy and thus increase memory requirements. For instance, consider the following two examples: This would be the default mode, using an extra memcopy but gives a safe implementation without dependencies on `reflect` and `unsafe`: Here is the same functionality, but uses the `.rodata` hack. The byte slice returned from this example can not be written to without generating a runtime error. The NoCompress option indicates that the supplied assets are *not* GZIP compressed before being turned into Go code. This is useful when including binary data in multiple formats, where the desired format is specified at build time with the appropriate tags. When you want to embed big files or plenty of files, then the generated output is really big (maybe over 3Mo). godocgo is a repo demonstrating effective Go documentation. I started to write this as a blog post, intending to link to a repo with examples, and then realized that there was no reason I couldn't write the whole post as godoc on the repo, so here it is. This repo serves as a working example of "hey, how do I get something like that to show up in my godoc?" It also has tips on common conventions and idioms used in documenting Go code. Please feel free to send me pull requests if you see errors or places where things could be improved. One of my favorite things about the Go programming language is godoc, the auto-generated documentation for your code. If you're coming from javadoc or similar tools, you're probably thinking one of two things (possibly both): An understandable reaction, but let me show you why godoc is different, and how to leverage all its features. First off, godoc comments are designed from the start to be read in the code. We all know that the code will be read a lot more often than some html documentation out on the web, so godoc makes sure to keep its documentation legible for the coder in their text editor. There is not a single angle bracket to be found. Simple conventions replace the html/xml tags you often see in other documentation standards. Paragraphs are delineated by blank lines. Headings like the above are simply a single line without punctuation with paragraphs before and after it. If you're viewing this using godoc, it will be included in the table of contents at the top of the file. If you're viewing this on godoc.org, there is, sadly, no table of contents. Below this is pre-formatted text. All that is required for it to be rendered in that way is that it be indented from the surrounding comments (you can use tabs or spaces, whatever you like). This is handy for showing code snippets that you don't want godoc to auto-wrap, the way it does normal text. Html links will be auto linked without you having to do anything, like so: http://golang.org That's it, that's all the formatting you get. But it's enough, and I think we can all be glad to focus on the content and not the formatting of our documentation. In Go, any comment which immediately precedes Go code is considered a comment about that code. Only comments on exported names will be included in the documentation. By corollary, any comment that is *not* on a line before a line of code, is not picked up as documentation. Note that this is important when writing things like build tags and copyright notices at the top of files. Always make sure you have a space between those comments and the package declaration. Comments exist to tell developers what the code is for and how to use it. They should be concise and to the point. Comments should be full sentences that end with a period. This generally forces you to offer complete thoughts in your comments, rather than trying to make it into shorthand. It's also useful, because then no one has to wonder if you forgot to write the end of that sentence. Comments in Go traditionally start with the name of the thing they're commenting about. Thus, if you're commenting on a type Foo, the comment would start "Foo is ...". This makes it clear that the comment is about that name, and can help connect the two if they get separated. Often times the first sentence of a comment is extracted as a short summary, so make it short and useful on its own. Always comment every exported name in your program. You never know when a little extra information will help someone use your code. Also, it just makes your documentation look complete. The text you are reading is documentation on the main package of a Go executable. It is simply a comment attached (immediately preceding) the package <foo> declaration (in this case package main, since this is the application package). It is traditional to put long form documentation in a file called doc.go, without other code in that file, but that is not necessary. A comment on the package declaration in any file will work, and if you have multiple comments, they'll be concatenated together. The first sentence in this file (up to the first period) will be the label next to the link in godoc's index. This should be a short description of what the command does, and traditionally starts with "Command <name-of- command>". Package dosa is the DOSA - Declarative Object Storage Abstraction. DOSA is designed to relieve common headaches developers face while building stateful, database-dependent services. Fresh is a command line tool that builds and (re)starts your web application everytime you save a go or template file. If the web framework you are using supports the Fresh runner, it will show build errors on your browser. It currently works with Traffic (https://github.com/pilu/traffic), Martini (https://github.com/codegangsta/martini) and gocraft/web (https://github.com/gocraft/web). Fresh will watch for file events, and every time you create/modifiy/delete a file it will build and restart the application. If `go build` returns an error, it will logs it in the tmp folder. Traffic (https://github.com/pilu/traffic) already has a middleware that shows the content of that file if it is present. This middleware is automatically added if you run a Traffic web app in dev mode with Fresh.

All tests pass on Linux, Mac and Windows platforms. gofpdf supports UTF-8 TrueType fonts and “right-to-left” languages. For these languages, a specialized font (for example, NotoSansSC for simplified Chinese) can be used. Also, support is provided to automatically translate UTF-8 runes to code page encodings for languages that have fewer than 256 glyphs. See the functions in the fpdf_test.go file (shown as examples in this documentation) for more advanced PDF examples. If an error occurs in an Fpdf method, an internal error field is set. After this occurs, Fpdf method calls typically return without performing any operations and the error state is retained. This error management scheme facilitates PDF generation since individual method calls do not need to be examined for failure; it is generally sufficient to wait until after Output() is called. For the same reason, if an error occurs in the calling application during PDF generation, it may be desirable for the application to transfer the error to the Fpdf instance by calling the SetError() method or the SetErrorf() method. At any time during the life cycle of the Fpdf instance, the error state can be determined with a call to Ok() or Err(). The error itself can be retrieved with a call to Error(). This package is a relatively straightforward translation from the original FPDF library written in PHP (despite the caveat in the introduction to Effective Go). The API names have been retained even though the Go idiom would suggest otherwise (for example, pdf.GetX() is used rather than simply pdf.X()). The similarity of the two libraries makes the original FPDF website a good source of information. It includes a forum and FAQ. However, some internal changes have been made. Page content is built up using buffers (of type bytes.Buffer) rather than repeated string concatenation. Errors are handled as explained above rather than panicking. Output is generated through an interface of type io.Writer or io.WriteCloser. A number of the original PHP methods behave differently based on the type of the arguments that are passed to them; in these cases additional methods have been exported to provide similar functionality. Font definition files are produced in JSON rather than PHP. A side effect of running go test ./... is the production of a number of example PDFs. These can be found in the gofpdf/pdf directory after the tests complete. Please note that these examples run in the context of a test. In order run an example as a standalone application, you’ll need to examine fpdf_test.go for some helper routines, for example exampleFilename() and summary(). Example PDFs can be compared with reference copies in order to verify that they have been generated as expected. This comparison will be performed if a PDF with the same name as the example PDF is placed in the gofpdf/pdf/reference directory and if the third argument to ComparePDFFiles() in internal/example/example.go is true. (By default it is false.) The routine that summarizes an example will look for this file and, if found, will call ComparePDFFiles() to check the example PDF for equality with its reference PDF. If differences exist between the two files they will be printed to standard output and the test will fail. If the reference file is missing, the comparison is considered to succeed. In order to successfully compare two PDFs, the placement of internal resources must be consistent and the internal creation timestamps must be the same. To do this, the methods SetCatalogSort() and SetCreationDate() need to be called for both files. This is done automatically for all examples. Nothing special is required to use the standard PDF fonts (courier, helvetica, times, zapfdingbats) in your documents other than calling SetFont(). You should use AddUTF8Font() or AddUTF8FontFromBytes() to add a TrueType UTF-8 encoded font. Use RTL() and LTR() methods switch between “right-to-left” and “left-to-right” mode. In order to use a different non-UTF-8 TrueType or Type1 font, you will need to generate a font definition file and, if the font will be embedded into PDFs, a compressed version of the font file. This is done by calling the MakeFont function or using the included makefont command line utility. To create the utility, cd into the makefont subdirectory and run “go build”. This will produce a standalone executable named makefont. Select the appropriate encoding file from the font subdirectory and run the command as in the following example. In your PDF generation code, call AddFont() to load the font and, as with the standard fonts, SetFont() to begin using it. Most examples, including the package example, demonstrate this method. Vet examines Go source code and reports suspicious constructs, such as Printf calls whose arguments do not align with the format string. Vet uses heuristics that do not guarantee all reports are genuine problems, but it can find errors not caught by the compilers. Vet is normally invoked using the go command by running "go vet": vets the package in the current directory. vets the package whose path is provided. Use "go help packages" to see other ways of specifying which packages to vet. Vet's exit code is 2 for erroneous invocation of the tool, 1 if a problem was reported, and 0 otherwise. Note that the tool does not check every possible problem and depends on unreliable heuristics so it should be used as guidance only, not as a firm indicator of program correctness. By default the -all flag is set so all checks are performed. If any flags are explicitly set to true, only those tests are run. Conversely, if any flag is explicitly set to false, only those tests are disabled. Thus -printf=true runs the printf check, -printf=false runs all checks except the printf check. By default vet uses the object files generated by 'go install some/pkg' to typecheck the code. If the -source flag is provided, vet uses only source code. Fresh is a command-line tool that builds, starts and restarts your written in Go application, including a web app, every time you save a Go or template file or any desired files you specify via configuration file. Fresh can be used even without configuration file, using default values. Fresh watches for file events, and every time a file is created, deleted or modified it will build and restart the application. If `go build` returns an error, it will create a log file in the tmp folder and keep watching, attempting to rebuild if initial compilation was successful. It will also attempt to kill previously created processes. This is a fork of an original fresh (https://github.com/pilu/fresh) that is announced as unmaintained.
Package uplink is the main entrypoint to interacting with Storj Labs' decentralized storage network. Sign up for an account on a Satellite today! https://storj.io/ The fundamental unit of access in the Storj Labs storage network is the Access Grant. An access grant is a serialized structure that is internally comprised of an API Key, a set of encryption key information, and information about which Storj Labs or Tardigrade network Satellite is responsible for the metadata. An access grant is always associated with exactly one Project on one Satellite. If you don't already have an access grant, you will need make an account on a Satellite, generate an API Key, and encapsulate that API Key with encryption information into an access grant. If you don't already have an account on a Satellite, first make one at https://storj.io/ and note the Satellite you choose (such as us1.storj.io, eu1.storj.io, etc). Then, make an API Key in the web interface. The first step to any project is to generate a restricted access grant with the minimal permissions that are needed. Access grants contains all encryption information and they should be restricted as much as possible. To make an access grant, you can create one using our Uplink CLI tool's 'share' subcommand (after setting up the Uplink CLI tool), or you can make one as follows: In the above example, 'serializedAccess' is a human-readable string that represents read-only access to just the "logs" bucket, and is only able to decrypt that one bucket thanks to hierarchical deterministic key derivation. Note: RequestAccessWithPassphrase is CPU-intensive, and your application's normal lifecycle should avoid it and use ParseAccess where possible instead. To revoke an access grant see the Project.RevokeAccess method. A common architecture for building applications is to have a single bucket for the entire application to store the objects of all users. In such architecture, it is of utmost importance to guarantee that users can access only their objects but not the objects of other users. This can be achieved by implementing an app-specific authentication service that generates an access grant for each user by restricting the main access grant of the application. This user-specific access grant is restricted to access the objects only within a specific key prefix defined for the user. When initialized, the authentication server creates the main application access grant with an empty passphrase as follows. The authentication service does not hold any encryption information about users, so the passphrase used to request the main application access grant does not matter. The encryption keys related to user objects will be overridden in a next step on the client-side. It is important that once set to a specific value, this passphrase never changes in the future. Therefore, the best practice is to use an empty passphrase. Whenever a user is authenticated, the authentication service generates the user-specific access grant as follows: The userID is something that uniquely identifies the users in the application and must never change. Along with the user access grant, the authentication service should return a user-specific salt. The salt must be always the same for this user. The salt size is 16-byte or 32-byte. Once the application receives the user-specific access grant and the user-specific salt from the authentication service, it has to override the encryption key in the access grant, so users can encrypt and decrypt their files with encryption keys derived from their passphrase. The user-specific access grant is now ready to use by the application. Once you have a valid access grant, you can open a Project with the access that access grant allows for. Projects allow you to manage buckets and objects within buckets. A bucket represents a collection of objects. You can upload, download, list, and delete objects of any size or shape. Objects within buckets are represented by keys, where keys can optionally be listed using the "/" delimiter. Note: Objects and object keys within buckets are end-to-end encrypted, but bucket names themselves are not encrypted, so the billing interface on the Satellite can show you bucket line items. Objects support a couple kilobytes of arbitrary key/value metadata, and arbitrary-size primary data streams with the ability to read at arbitrary offsets. If you want to access only a small subrange of the data you uploaded, you can use `uplink.DownloadOptions` to specify the download range. bindata converts any file into managable Go source code. Useful for embedding binary data into a go program. The file data is optionally gzip compressed before being converted to a raw byte slice. The following paragraphs cover some of the customization options which can be specified in the Config struct, which must be passed into the Translate() call. When used with the `Debug` option, the generated code does not actually include the asset data. Instead, it generates function stubs which load the data from the original file on disk. The asset API remains identical between debug and release builds, so your code will not have to change. This is useful during development when you expect the assets to change often. The host application using these assets uses the same API in both cases and will not have to care where the actual data comes from. An example is a Go webserver with some embedded, static web content like HTML, JS and CSS files. While developing it, you do not want to rebuild the whole server and restart it every time you make a change to a bit of javascript. You just want to build and launch the server once. Then just press refresh in the browser to see those changes. Embedding the assets with the `debug` flag allows you to do just that. When you are finished developing and ready for deployment, just re-invoke `go-bindata` without the `-debug` flag. It will now embed the latest version of the assets. The `NoMemCopy` option will alter the way the output file is generated. It will employ a hack that allows us to read the file data directly from the compiled program's `.rodata` section. This ensures that when we call call our generated function, we omit unnecessary memcopies. The downside of this, is that it requires dependencies on the `reflect` and `unsafe` packages. These may be restricted on platforms like AppEngine and thus prevent you from using this mode. Another disadvantage is that the byte slice we create, is strictly read-only. For most use-cases this is not a problem, but if you ever try to alter the returned byte slice, a runtime panic is thrown. Use this mode only on target platforms where memory constraints are an issue. The default behaviour is to use the old code generation method. This prevents the two previously mentioned issues, but will employ at least one extra memcopy and thus increase memory requirements. For instance, consider the following two examples: This would be the default mode, using an extra memcopy but gives a safe implementation without dependencies on `reflect` and `unsafe`: Here is the same functionality, but uses the `.rodata` hack. The byte slice returned from this example can not be written to without generating a runtime error. The NoCompress option indicates that the supplied assets are *not* GZIP compressed before being turned into Go code. The data should still be accessed through a function call, so nothing changes in the API. This feature is useful if you do not care for compression, or the supplied resource is already compressed. Doing it again would not add any value and may even increase the size of the data. The default behaviour of the program is to use compression. The keys used in the `_bindata` map are the same as the input file name passed to `go-bindata`. This includes the path. In most cases, this is not desireable, as it puts potentially sensitive information in your code base. For this purpose, the tool supplies another command line flag `-prefix`. This accepts a portion of a path name, which should be stripped off from the map keys and function names. For example, running without the `-prefix` flag, we get: Running with the `-prefix` flag, we get: With the optional Tags field, you can specify any go build tags that must be fulfilled for the output file to be included in a build. This is useful when including binary data in multiple formats, where the desired format is specified at build time with the appropriate tags. The tags are appended to a `// +build` line in the beginning of the output file and must follow the build tags syntax specified by the go tool.

If you need to access all keys of a JSON then, we are simply recommend you to use Parser. But if you need to access some keys of a JSON then we strongly recommend you to use Interpreter, it will be much faster and much more memory-friendly than parser. Interpreter is core element of this package, no need to create an Interpreter type, just call which function you want. First let's look at general function parameters. We are gonna use Get() function to access the value of path has pointed. In this case 'jin'. Path value can consist hard coded values. Get() function return type is []byte but all other variations of return types are implemented with different functions. For example. If you need "value" as string use GetString(). Parser is another alternative for JSON manipulation. We recommend to use this structure when you need to access all or most of the keys in the JSON. Parser constructor need only one parameter. Package css implements a CSS3 compliant scanner and parser. This is meant to be a low-level library for extracting a CSS3 abstract syntax tree from raw CSS text. This package can be used for building tools to validate, optimize and format CSS text. CSS parsing occurs in two steps. First the scanner breaks up a stream of code points (runes) into tokens. These tokens represent the most basic units of the CSS syntax tree such as identifiers, whitespace, and strings. The second step is to feed these tokens into the parser which creates the abstract syntax tree (AST) based on the context of the tokens. Unlike many language parsers, the abstract syntax tree for CSS saves many of the original tokens in the stream so they can be reparsed at different levels. For example, parsing a @media query will save off the raw tokens found in the {-block so they can be reparsed as a full style sheet. This package doesn't understand the specifics of how to parse different types of at-rules (such as @media queries) so it defers that to the user to handle parsing. The CSS3 syntax defines a syntax tree of several types. At the top-level there is a StyleSheet. The style sheet is simply a collection of Rules. A Rule can be either an AtRule or a QualifiedRule. An AtRule is defined as a rule starting with an "@" symbol and an identifier, then it's followed by zero or more component values and finally ends with either a {-block or a semicolon. The block is parsed simply as a collection of tokens and it is up to the user to define the exact grammar. A QualifiedRule is defined as a rule starting with one or more component values and ending with a {-block. Inside the {-blocks are a list of declarations. Despite the name, a list of declarations can be either an AtRule or a Declaration. A Declaration is an identifier followed by a colon followed by one or more component values. The declaration can also have it's Important flag set if the last two non-whitespace tokens are a case-insensitive "!important". ComponentValues are the basic unit inside rules and declarations. A ComponentValue can be either a SimpleBlock, a Function, or a Token. A simple block starts with either a {, [, or (, has zero or more component values, and then ends with the mirror of the starting token (}, ], or )). A Function is an identifier immediately followed by a left parenthesis, then zero or more component values, and then ending with a right parenthesis.

The following paragraphs cover some of the customization options which can be specified in the Config struct, which must be passed into the Translate() call. When used with the `Debug` option, the generated code does not actually include the asset data. Instead, it generates function stubs which load the data from the original file on disk. The asset API remains identical between debug and release builds, so your code will not have to change. This is useful during development when you expect the assets to change often. The host application using these assets uses the same API in both cases and will not have to care where the actual data comes from. An example is a Go webserver with some embedded, static web content like HTML, JS and CSS files. While developing it, you do not want to rebuild the whole server and restart it every time you make a change to a bit of javascript. You just want to build and launch the server once. Then just press refresh in the browser to see those changes. Embedding the assets with the `debug` flag allows you to do just that. When you are finished developing and ready for deployment, just re-invoke `go-bindata` without the `-debug` flag. It will now embed the latest version of the assets. The `NoMemCopy` option will alter the way the output file is generated. It will employ a hack that allows us to read the file data directly from the compiled program's `.rodata` section. This ensures that when we call call our generated function, we omit unnecessary memcopies. The downside of this, is that it requires dependencies on the `reflect` and `unsafe` packages. These may be restricted on platforms like AppEngine and thus prevent you from using this mode. Another disadvantage is that the byte slice we create, is strictly read-only. For most use-cases this is not a problem, but if you ever try to alter the returned byte slice, a runtime panic is thrown. Use this mode only on target platforms where memory constraints are an issue. The default behavior is to use the old code generation method. This prevents the two previously mentioned issues, but will employ at least one extra memcopy and thus increase memory requirements. For instance, consider the following two examples: This would be the default mode, using an extra memcopy but gives a safe implementation without dependencies on `reflect` and `unsafe`: Here is the same functionality, but uses the `.rodata` hack. The byte slice returned from this example can not be written to without generating a runtime error. The NoCompress option indicates that the supplied assets are *not* GZIP compressed before being turned into Go code. The data should still be accessed through a function call, so nothing changes in the API. This feature is useful if you do not care for compression, or the supplied resource is already compressed. Doing it again would not add any value and may even increase the size of the data. The default behavior of the program is to use compression. In most cases, this is not desireable, as it puts potentially sensitive information in your code base. For this purpose, the tool supplies another command line flag `-prefix`. This accepts a portion of a path name, which should be stripped off from the map keys and function names. For example, running without the `-prefix` flag, we get: Running with the `-prefix` flag, we get: With the optional Tags field, you can specify any go build tags that must be fulfilled for the output file to be included in a build. This is useful when including binary data in multiple formats, where the desired format is specified at build time with the appropriate tags. Package hugot provides a simple interface for building extensible chat bots in an idiomatic go style. It is heavily influenced by net/http, and uses an internal message format that is compatible with Slack messages. Note: This package requires go1.7 Adapters are used to integrate with external chat systems. Currently the following adapters exist: Examples of using these adapters can be found in github.com/tcolgate/hugot/cmd Handlers process messages. There are a several built in handler types: - Plain Handlers will execute for every message sent to them. - Background handlers, are started when a bot is started. They do not receive messages but can send them. They are intended to implement long lived background tasks that react to external inputs. - WebHook handlers can be used to implement web hooks by adding the bot to a http.ServeMux. A URL is built from the name of the handler. In addition to these basic handlers some more complex handlers are supplied. - Hears Handlers will execute for any message which matches a given regular expression. - Command Handlers act as command line tools. Message are attempted to be processed as a command line. Quoted text is handle as a single argument. The passed message can be used as a flag.FlagSet. - A Mux. The Mux will multiplex message across a set of handlers. In addition, a top level "help" Command handler is added to provide help on usage of the various handlers added to the Mux. Package merkletree provides tools for calculating the Merkle root of a dataset, for creating a proof that a piece of data is in a Merkle tree of a given root, and for verifying proofs that a piece of data is in a Merkle tree of a given root. The tree is implemented according to the specification for Merkle trees provided in RFC 6962. Package merkletree also supports building roots and proofs from cached subroots of the Merkle tree. For example, a large file could be cached by building the Merkle root for each 4MB sector and remembering the Merkle roots of each sector. Using a cached tree, the Merkle root of the whole file can be computed by passing the cached tree each of the roots of the 4MB sector. Building proofs using these cached roots is also supported. A proof must be built within the target sector using a normal Tree, requiring the whole sector to be hashed. The results of that proof can then be passed into the Prove() function of a cached tree, which will create the full proof without needing to hash the entire file. Caching also makes it inexpensive to update the Merkle root of the file after changing or deleting segments of the larger file. Examples can be found in the README for the package.

Package egoscale is a mapping for with the CloudStack API (http://cloudstack.apache.org/api.html) from Go. It has been designed against the Exoscale (https://www.exoscale.com/) infrastructure but should fit other CloudStack services. To build a request, construct the adequate struct. This library expects a pointer for efficiency reasons only. The response is a struct corresponding to the data at stake. E.g. DeployVirtualMachine gives a VirtualMachine, as a pointer as well to avoid big copies. Then everything within the struct is not a pointer. Find below some examples of how egoscale may be used to interact with a CloudStack endpoint, especially Exoscale itself. It enables a finer control over errors, e.g. HTTP timeout, and eventually a way to kill it of (from the client side). Nota bene: when running the tests or the egoscale library via another tool, e.g. the exo cli (or the cs cli), the environment variable EXOSCALE_TRACE=prefix does the above configuration for you. Package antlr implements the Go version of the ANTLR 4 runtime. ANTLR (ANother Tool for Language Recognition) is a powerful parser generator for reading, processing, executing, or translating structured text or binary files. It's widely used to build languages, tools, and frameworks. From a grammar, ANTLR generates a parser that can build parse trees and also generates a listener interface (or visitor) that makes it easy to respond to the recognition of phrases of interest. At version 4.11.x and prior, the Go runtime was not properly versioned for go modules. After this point, the runtime source code to be imported was held in the `runtime/Go/antlr/v4` directory, and the go.mod file was updated to reflect the version of ANTLR4 that it is compatible with (I.E. uses the /v4 path). However, this was found to be problematic, as it meant that with the runtime embedded so far underneath the root of the repo, the `go get` and related commands could not properly resolve the location of the go runtime source code. This meant that the reference to the runtime in your `go.mod` file would refer to the correct source code, but would not list the release tag such as @4.13.1 - this was confusing, to say the least. As of 4.13.0, the runtime is now available as a go module in its own repo, and can be imported as `github.com/antlr4-go/antlr` (the go get command should also be used with this path). This means that if you are using the source code without modules, you should also use the source code in the new repo. Though we highly recommend that you use go modules, as they are now idiomatic for Go. I am aware that this change will prove Hyrum's Law, but am prepared to live with it for the common good. Go runtime author: Jim Idle jimi@idle.ws ANTLR supports the generation of code in a number of target languages, and the generated code is supported by a runtime library, written specifically to support the generated code in the target language. This library is the runtime for the Go target. To generate code for the go target, it is generally recommended to place the source grammar files in a package of their own, and use the `.sh` script method of generating code, using the go generate directive. In that same directory it is usual, though not required, to place the antlr tool that should be used to generate the code. That does mean that the antlr tool JAR file will be checked in to your source code control though, so you are, of course, free to use any other way of specifying the version of the ANTLR tool to use, such as aliasing in `.zshrc` or equivalent, or a profile in your IDE, or configuration in your CI system. Checking in the jar does mean that it is easy to reproduce the build as it was at any point in its history. Here is a general/recommended template for an ANTLR based recognizer in Go: Make sure that the package statement in your grammar file(s) reflects the go package the generated code will exist in. The generate.go file then looks like this: And the generate.sh file will look similar to this: depending on whether you want visitors or listeners or any other ANTLR options. Not that another option here is to generate the code into a From the command line at the root of your source package (location of go.mo)d) you can then simply issue the command: Which will generate the code for the parser, and place it in the parsing package.
