cldr - Unicode CLDR data exposed as Go packages
Author: @dolmen (Olivier Mengué).
Packages
Each package exposes a string-based type called Code
(country.Code
, currency.Code
) corresponding to an ISO code and which is the entrypoint of the API. Those types implement interfaces used for input and output from/to
JSON (json.Marshaler, json.Unmarshaler),
command line flags (flag.Value) and SQL databases
(sql.Scanner, driver.Valuer).
Data (country names, currencies per country) comes from the Unicode Common Locale Data Repository. Code generators are bundled to update the data from the latest CLDR release.
