# Asset Credentials

A package for dealing with Asset DIDs and credentials.

An Asset DID is a string uniquely identifying an asset regardless of the blochain they live on.

An Asset credential is a Verifiable Credential that can be issued by anyone, and that refers to an Asset.
It is publicly stored on the KILT blockchain and can be accessed by anyone.
