Requirements

• NodeJS v13+
• Npm v6.12+
• MongoDB v4+
• Mongoose v6+

Install

$ npm install --save mongoose @lykmapipo/mongoose-sequenceable

Usage

import mongoose from 'mongoose';
import '@lykmapipo/mongoose-sequenceable';

const Ticket = mongoose.model(
  'Ticket',
  new mongoose.Schema({
    customer: { type: String, required: true },
    number: { type: String, required: true, sequenceable: true },
  })
);

Ticket.create({ customer: 'Joe Doe' }, (error, ticket) => {
  console.log(ticket.number); //=> 210001
});
