annul

Annul

Cancel promise if it takes more than a given time to resolve or reject. Annul is different than other modules as it can cancel functions and pretty much anything JavaScript supports.

Usage

var annul = require('annul')

// cancel fetch promise
annul(fetch('/someslowapi'), 3000)
  .then(null, err => console.log(err))
// Error: Promise canceled after 3000 ms


// cancel function
annul(slow, 3000)
  .then(null, err => console.log(err))
// Error: Promise canceled after 3000 ms

function slow (success) {
  return setTimeout(success, 6000)
}

npm install annul --save
