Cronos provides a set of Asteria modules that can be deployed within a Node.js environment.

Requirements

Asteria Cronos needs the following system parameters in order to work correctly:

  • npm 3+
  • TypeScript 3+

Installation

Set up the Asteria Cronos module with:

$ npm install asteria-cronos --save

Using Components

All Asteria Cronos components have to be imported with the ES6 syntax:

import { Ouranos } from 'asteria-ouranos';
import { FileReaderProcess, CsvToListProcess } from 'asteria-cronos';

Ouranos.createSession({ name: 'UsMegaCities'})
       .getContext()
       .getProcessor()
       .add( Ouranos.buildProcess(FileReaderProcess, fileReaderConfig) )
       .add( Ouranos.buildProcess(CsvToListProcess, csvToListConfig) )
       .run();

Running Tests

To execute all unit tests, use:

$ grunt test

API Reference

The API Reference documentation is not included into the JEC Commons node module. To build the API reference documentation, use:

$ grunt doc

Documentation will be generated in the docs/api-reference repository.
