Media Picker

Media Picker is Atlassian's toolkit for getting your customer's files to the Media API.

Setup

Media Picker consists of two sub-projects that both need to be set up.

First, install the dependencies:

yarn install-all

Development

Link all the things:

1- Link mediapicker

~/mediapicker: yarn link

2- Link mediapicker inside popup

~/mediapicker/popup: yarn link mediapicker

3- Watch for changes and start the server:

yarn dev

4- Open the examples

open http://127.0.0.1:8081/example/popup.html

Open Chrome in unsafe mode in order to override Access-Control-Allow-Origin restrictions when using localhost:

open -a Google\ Chrome\ Canary --args --disable-web-security --user-data-dir

Testing

yarn test

Requires yarn build-local to create the necessary config files.

Releasing

Changelog

Ensure that the ./CHANGELOG.md file contains a valid version entry with details. Short messages are best but if you need to add more detail, do so. Consumers should be able to use the changelog as well as the ./docs folder to self serve upgrades.

default

Running bump without any argument will bump a patch version

$ yarn bump

specifying version

You can optionally specify a semver version <newversion> | major | minor | patch

$ yarn bump -- major
$ yarn bump -- 3.2.1
npm run release
