# n8n-nodes-openweathermap

This is an n8n community node for accessing the OpenWeatherMap API's hourly forecast endpoint.

## Installation

Follow the [installation guide](https://docs.n8n.io/integrations/community-nodes/installation/) in the n8n community nodes documentation.

### Quick Installation

1. Go to **Settings > Community Nodes**.
2. Select **Install**.
3. Enter `n8n-nodes-atc-openweathermap` in **Enter npm package name**.
4. Agree to the disclaimer.
5. Select **Install**.

## Credentials

You need to create an OpenWeatherMap account and obtain an API key.

1. Sign up for an account at [OpenWeatherMap](https://home.openweathermap.org/users/sign_up)
2. Go to your [API keys](https://home.openweathermap.org/api_keys) page
3. Generate a new API key
4. Note that new API keys may take a few hours to activate
