Welcome to One Dionys - Form Input Masking! 👋

Functions for adding input patterns to forms such as phone number or postal code formats. 💖

💾 Requirements

  • Web Browser - Can be used as an emulator to build applications. Example [Chrome, Firefox, Safari & Opera].
  • Internet - Because many use CDN and to make it easier to find solutions to all problems.

🎯 How To Use

Example Syntax
const formInputMasking = require('form-input-masking');

const maskedInput = formInputMasking.maskInput('1234567890', '(000) 000-0000');
console.log(maskedInput); // Output: (123) 456-7890
Explanation
  • This package provides a function maskInput which takes an input string and a pattern as parameters. The function masks the input string according to the provided pattern. For example, if the pattern is '(000) 000-0000', the function will format the input string 1234567890 as (123) 456-7890.
Return Value
  • The function maskInput returns the masked input string.
