WebScreenShot allows you to take screenshots of webpages through a REST API.

Usage

Install webscreenshot on your computer

npm install -g webscreenshot

And start the service

webscreenshotd --port 8080

To take a screenshot of a website, POST the following payload at the / endpoint

Parameters

Below is the list of available parameters

ParameterDescription
urlThe url to take a screenshot of.
config.widthThe width of the viewport in pixels.
config.heightThe height of the viewport in pixels.
config.topThe vertical shift regarding the top of the page in pixels.
config.leftThe horizontal shift regarding the left ot page in pixels.
config.delayThe delay to wait before the screenshot is taken in milliseconds.
config.usernameThe username to use for basic authentication.
config.passwordThe password to use for basic authentication.
