Oracle Drags Its Feet in the JavaScript Trademark Dispute
Oracle seeks to dismiss fraud claims in the JavaScript trademark dispute, delaying the case and avoiding questions about its right to the name.

_U1 API Auth docs <https://one.ubuntu.com/developer/account_admin/auth/index>
_Implemented from scratch on top of Twisted and
oauth2 <https://pypi.python.org/pypi/oauth2/>
_ (name might be
confusing - it's actually OAuth 1.0 helper), does not require any
ubuntu-specific libs, daemons or modules.
Note that email/password credentials are only needed to get the OAuth
1.0 consumer/token (which can be revoked through ubuntu single sign on interface <https://login.ubuntu.com/+applications>
) once, see
docs <https://one.ubuntu.com/developer/account_admin/auth/otherplatforms>
for more details.
Included "u1-cli" script can also be used to generate these OAuth credentials for the apps.

More comprehensive docs are always welcome!
It's a regular package for Python 2.7 (not 3.X).
Using pip <http://pip-installer.org/>
_ is the best way:
::
% pip install txu1
If you don't have it, use:
::
% easy_install pip
% pip install txu1
Alternatively (see also <http://www.pip-installer.org/en/latest/installing.html>
_):
::
% curl https://raw.github.com/pypa/pip/master/contrib/get-pip.py | python
% pip install txu1
Or, if you absolutely must:
::
% easy_install txu1
But, you really shouldn't do that.
Current-git version can be installed like this:
::
% pip install 'git+https://github.com/mk-fg/txu1.git#egg=txu1'
Note that to install stuff in system-wide PATH and site-packages,
elevated privileges are often required. Use "install --user",
~/.pydistutils.cfg <http://docs.python.org/install/index.html#distutils-configuration-files>
_
or virtualenv <http://pypi.python.org/pypi/virtualenv>
_ to do
unprivileged installs into custom paths.
Requirements
- `Python 2.7 (not 3.X) <http://python.org>`_
- `Twisted <http://twistedmatrix.com>`_ (core, web, at least 12.2.0)
- `oauth2 <https://pypi.python.org/pypi/oauth2/>`_
