In the last few years digital currencies have successfully demonstrated their ability to become an alternative financial instrument in many different markets. Most of the technologies available at the moment are based on the principles of Blockchain architecture, including dominating currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Despite its popularity, Blockchain is not the best possible solution for all scenarios. One such example is for fast micro-payments. Zold is an experimental alternative that enables distributed transactions between anonymous users, making micro-payments financially feasible. It borrows the proof-of-work principle from Bitcoin, and suggests a different architecture for digital wallet maintenance.

Drop Zone is a solution to the problem of restricted sales in censored markets. The proposal is for the design of a protocol and reference client that encodes the location and a brief description of a good onto The Blockchain. Those wishing to purchase the good can search for items within a user-requested radius. Sellers list a good as available within a geographic region, subject to some degree of precision, for the purpose of obfuscating their precise location. Goods are announced next to an expiration, a hashtag, and if space permits, a description. Once a buyer finds a good in a defined relative proximity, a secure communication channel is opened between the parties on the Bitcoin test network ("testnet"). Once negotiations are complete, the buyer sends payment to the seller via the address listed on the Bitcoin mainnet. This spend action establishes reputation for the buyer, and potentially for the seller. Once paid, the seller is to furnish the exact GPS coordinates of the good to the buyer (alongside a small note such as "Check in the crevice of the tree"). When the buyer successfully picks up the item at the specified location, the buyer then issues a receipt with a note by spending flake to the address of the original post. In this way, sellers receive a reputation score. The solution is akin to that of Craigslist.org or Uber, but is distributed and as such provides nearly risk-free terms to contraband sellers, and drastically reduced risk to contraband buyers.
Gem is a full-stack Bitcoin API that makes it easy to build powerful blockchain apps with beautiful, elegant code.
== DESCRIPTION: BlockChainable is a module to aid in the creation of Domain Specific Languages using block structure. By including BlockChainable into your classes, you will be able to instantiate that class using the class name itself, followed by any parameters to be passed to initialize, followed by a block to be executed within the instantiated class. BlockChainable also allows methods to search up the chain of classes, meaning that although a block is executed in the scope of the instantiated class, any methods not found in the class but found in a class "up-scope" will be called successfully on the up-scope class. This chaining of method calls allows you to assert values within the blocks as well as calling any other methods from "up-scope" classes. == FEATURES/PROBLEMS:
A Ruby client for the Flow blockchain

ECIES is a public-key encryption scheme based on ECC. It can be used to encrypt messages to bitcoin addresses with keys published on the blockchain, and subsequently to decrypt messages by the holders of the address's private key.
This is a Ruby SDK based on Golang SDK for working with Minter blockchain
If you have multiple applications that need to perform actions as operations occur, `meeseeker` will allow your apps to each perform actions for specific operations without each app having to streaming the entire blockchain.

This is the simple REST client for Blockchain Node Engine API V1. Simple REST clients are Ruby client libraries that provide access to Google services via their HTTP REST API endpoints. These libraries are generated and updated automatically based on the discovery documents published by the service, and they handle most concerns such as authentication, pagination, retry, timeouts, and logging. You can use this client to access the Blockchain Node Engine API, but note that some services may provide a separate modern client that is easier to use.
