What's new at Socket?

Socket Basics now includes over 100 new configuration options for finer-grained control over security scanning. The expanded settings cover 17 language SAST scanners, per-language rule customization, secret and container scanning, external CVE scanning, and Socket Tier 1 reachability analysis.

Teams can now configure 12 notification integrations including Slack, Jira, GitHub, and Microsoft Teams. The UI has been redesigned with organized sections, an “All Languages” toggle, password-masked secret fields, and debounced inputs for smoother interaction.

These improvements make Socket Basics more flexible and easier to tune for diverse environments and workflows.
