Set a daily time budget for YouTube. Once you hit it, YouTube is blocked until midnight. Toggle from the toolbar, use quick presets (15m / 30m / 1h / 2h), or grant a +15 min bonus when you need it.
YouTube Time Blocker is a lightweight focus tool. You set a daily allowance (default 1 hour). While YouTube is your active tab, time counts down. When the allowance runs out, all YouTube tabs redirect to a block page until local midnight.
Features: • Toggle blocking on/off from the toolbar popup • Configurable daily allowance with quick presets (15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, always-block) • Live "time left today" countdown in the popup • "+15 min" bonus button in the popup and on the block page (current day only) • Automatic reset at local midnight • Tracks time only when a YouTube tab is the active tab in a focused window — background tabs don't count • Blocks *.youtube.com and youtu.be
