The package delegates to the product runtime CLI package:

For local tarball simulation, set AI_CONTINUUM_SETUP_RUNTIME_PACKAGE to the
packed runtime tarball path (legacy AI_OS_SETUP_RUNTIME_PACKAGE still works).
On Linux and macOS, setup checks whether npm's global prefix is writable before
installing the runtime CLI. If npm points at a system prefix such as /usr,
setup configures a user-writable prefix at ~/.local/share/npm-global, uses it
for the current run, and prints the shell profile PATH line to keep ai-os
available in later terminals.
Override the automatic prefix when needed:
AI_CONTINUUM_SETUP_NPM_PREFIX="$HOME/.npm-global" npx @aihq/ai-continuum-setup
(The legacy AI_OS_SETUP_NPM_PREFIX name is still honored.)
