@decionis/iso8583-interceptor

Embeddable ISO8583 TCP/IP interception library for payment and banking rails.

Install

npm install @decionis/iso8583-interceptor @decionis/sdk-node

It includes:

• length-prefixed ISO8583 frame packing and unpacking helpers
• ASCII MTI / bitmap metadata extraction
• a TCP interceptor server that can forward, block, respond locally, or close connections
• a helper for turning an ISO8583 frame into a Decionis decision request

Core pattern

• Accept a framed ISO8583 message.
• Extract metadata such as MTI, TPDU, payload hash, and remote address.
• Build a Decionis decision request for the payment or banking workflow.
• Forward approved frames upstream, or block locally with a synthetic response or connection close.

The library does not assume one ISO8583 packager. If a deployment needs a specific local denial frame, provide buildBlockedPayload.
