# NavigationPanel

NavigationPanel allows the user to navigate an application by using tabs in a side panel in the application.

# Auth Token

The CI/CD job that publishes the component to [the NPM repository](https://www.npmjs.com) requires
`NPM_AUTH_TOKEN` to be set in the 'Variables' section of 
[the projects CI/CD settings](https://gitlab.developers.cam.ac.uk/uis/devops/react-components/navigation-panel/-/settings/ci_cd).
A token can be generated by running the following commands:

npm login
 Username: {retrieve from the DevOps secrets repo}
 Password: {retrieve from the DevOps secrets repo}
 Email: devops+npm@uis.cam.ac.uk

npm token create
 Password: {as above}
```
