Do not send source code to this server. It intentionally accepts metadata only.

Run

npm install
npm run build
node dist/index.js

The state file defaults to ~/.codepet/state.json. Set CODEPET_STATE_FILE to use another local path.

Privacy

No API key is required. The server makes no network requests. It never executes or stores source code.

Quick start

The server uses stdio, so it can be connected to Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, MCP Inspector, or another compatible MCP client.

Try it

After building, connect the server through your MCP client. The repository root also contains smoke-test.mjs for projects covered by the shared harness. A typical tool call starts with get_pet_status.
